Ok, while I admit this is funny, try to remember that I am human too! And perfectly capable of feeling like total excrement! Excrement being the polite term ;)
Today, after staying up until 11 the night before, I was shaken awake at 8:00 and told I was taking the SSAT in 15 minutes. I literally thought I was dreaming. Whoops. Forgot about that. I hauled my carcass out of bed, into the car, and into a seat at the local school, where no less than every thirteen-year-old in the county was standing around yawning. And I knew about 85% of them, easy. That's just how small this place is. And so I sat at a desk until 1:00 answering mindless questions like "If Desmond has 15 dungarees, and Mary has 17 jumpers, how many pairs of pants do they have between them?" Could somebody please tell me what a dungaree is. Then I proceeded to step out of the school and sit on an invisible car seat, and I think I broke my tailbone. Embarrasing². So now I am NOT going to see Harry Potter 7, NOT walking to the beach to see the frozen Bay, and NOT having fun. There. Thank you for letting me vent.
On a brighter note, I AM writing a smash hit novel, eating chocolate covered pretzels, and loving the beautiful ochre-and-grey guitar part to "Yesterday."
Color freak, signing off.

It's 12 degrees here...
SHIVERING!!! And writing....
I am writing a novel, just so you know. It might be up here soon.
I love the color of thunder... just realized that. I just got a new dress whose color almost matches it. It's a beautiful dark emerald. Remind me to post pictures...

My dog says hi to all of you ;) Her name is Ally. I took this rather emo-ish picture of her this summer. But I still love it! I will be posting a lot of pictures here, I'm very into nature photography. Like these...
Took the first (plenty more where they came from) two on top of Mount Gale head on a trip, the last through a broken window looking out into a misty New Hampshire yard on a different trip. The other ones were taken minutes later at the local pond.
Ok, now I really have to go to bed. It's been a hard day's night. I plan on sleeping like a log!! :)

John Lennon
So creepy- I just realized the 30th anniversary of John Lennon's death is today. Creepy, when you think I didn't know that when I posted yesterday. Shudder... just kidding. I don't scare quite that easily. But I am running Beatles music nonstop in tribute!
I am in a play now- Our Town. As Mrs. Webb. I think I've got the New Hampshire accent down pat. I live just a couple states over, and I go there a lot. Also, Grover's Corners bears striking resemblance to my own little town... like you can't spit and not hit someone you know. A good and a bad thing. And, people never move out- here it's because of the water, there? well, I don't know. I LOVE the play though. I recommend it.
I am the eggman............... they are the eggmen................... I am the walrus :)
Ok, I take it back - that song is CREEEPY!!!
However, if John Lennon sung it, it must have some deep meaning... hmmm. I think it's telling us..... not to do drugs ha ha ha. No really... wondering what it means :?

The Beatles Rock!!!
Hi people!
I am sitting in my room right now, watching the last rays of light fade from over the bay. Did I mention I live near/almost on a bay? Not telling you the name or location, obviously, but I suspect I'll be mentioning it a lot.
The light on the horizon is almost all gone now. The only light in my room is swirling in front of my face in the form of the orange/yellow, blue, gray/silver and lime green notes of Revolution by The Beatles. My mom's opaque purple/pink/orange voice is laced in, too. John Lennon's voice is a scratchy hay-textured tan/coral with purple edges.
The song ends. I am left in darkness. (well, that's depressing.)
I am moving toward the faintly lit doorway. I have to go shower for jiujitsu and change into my gi. Thanks to strep throat, I haven't done anything social in four days.
'Cause you know it's gonna be ALL RIGHT!!!
RIP John Lennon :)

Hi world!
Hi, world!
My name is Amme, and I'm 13. That's Ah-may. I like jiujitsu, rock climbing, reading, writing, and anything to do with the ocean. You know that famous line, "I see dead people"? Yeah. "I see colors."
I have a gift called synesthesia. It means that two of my senses are combined. When I hear things, I see things. Like colors, for instance. Words, letters, numbers, voices, sounds, and anything else that makes a noise makes me see a color in a shape in front of me. For example, right now, I am in my room, listening to the dog bark next door. It is making little brown smudges right in front of me. Now my own dog has joined in, leaving maroon smears of her own, tinged with black. When they stop, the color will stop. I can see through the color, because it is translucent, but it is definitely there.
All Synesthetes are different, so my colors are different from other people's. Like, my sister and I have long agreed to stop talking about our colors because last time we did that, we practically killed each other over whether R was brown or pink! Sounds crazy, I guess, but just goes to show you how real it is to us. It's as if you started arguing with somebody whether the sky was blue or red, you would be like hello! It's always been blue! Well, you've always seen it that way. We've never known anything else from our colors either.
And other people have different kinds of synesthesia. There was this one guy who tasted people's names. His wife's name tasted like peaches. IMHO, I think that would have been so cool, but kinda annoying after a while. And there are people who feel colors, and hear stuff when they see stuff.
If you ask me if it is cool, I'm afraid I have to tell you that I don't know. It's just always been there. And well, I guess this is obvious, but I'm not at all touchy about the subject, unlike some people. I LOVE being weird. Ask me ANYTHING! The color of your name, the color of your dog's name, whether I like the color J, (I do, it's a pretty dark magenta), The color of Taylor Swift's voice, (light blue with peach-orange-pink), whether I like pie, whatever. I'll try to get back to you, ASAP. :)
Now, you have two choices- go away from this site thinking "Man, this is one dang freaky kid" or think that and stay on the site. And I hope you enjoy my brand spanking new BLOG!
I hope everyone's having a happy December! Peace and love from this freak :) I'll try and post again soon.
